Optimas to Exhibit at Advanced Engineering 2025 in October

Published On: September 1st, 2025

Serving a diverse range of sectors, including automotive, power generation, heavy truck, off-highway, defence, marine and renewable energy, Optimas will once again exhibit at Advanced Engineering. At this year’s show, we’ll showcase innovative products and value-added services that support OEMs in boosting efficiency and reducing costs tied to fastener and C-class component usage. In addition, Optimas will be hosting a seminar, ‘Bespoke Fastening Solutions for EV and Battery Packs’, as part of our ongoing commitment to delivering tailored solutions for emerging technologies

Showcasing Optimas’ knowledge in combating challenges and creating solutions across industry requirements, Optimas will hold the seminar at the Automotive Forum on Wednesday, 29th, at 13:10 to discuss these solutions in detail.

In the session, experts will provide details on the challenges surrounding fasteners for EV battery tray assembly and explain how engineered solutions are solving problems for OEMs in the sector.

The annual show, which will take place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham from October 29th to 30th, brings engineering professionals from many industries together to innovate, collaborate, and identify solutions in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.

You will be able to find Optimas’ stand, H190, just opposite the Automotive Forum, where experts will be on hand to discuss:

  • How to minimise supply chain risk by choosing the right sourcing partner that can help you stay competitive in your industry through shortening lead times and identifying cost savings.
  • The benefits of customised vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs to automate fastener replenishment cycles, increasing efficiency and output.
  • How incorporating engineering and quality expertise specifically for your fastener Bill of Materials (BOM) can identify opportunities for simplifying manufacturing, improving product quality and influencing operating financials.

Optimas experts will also explain to visitors how they can reduce their total cost of ownership across their fastener and C-class component usage. For manufacturers using high volumes of fasteners, procurement cost is only part of the equation. Optimas will explain how a comprehensive approach to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) helps identify hidden costs and unlock efficiencies across sourcing, logistics, assembly, and inventory management.

Visitors attending Advanced Engineering will also have the opportunity to explore Optimas’ innovative BOM management and design engineering tool, OptiSpec®. OptiSpec® is a cloud-based application which helps users prevent part proliferation, encourage part rationalisation and implement rapid prototyping.

Furthermore, Optimas experts have developed a detailed guide on how decision-makers can turn complexity into an opportunity by efficiently changing fastener suppliers. The team will guide visitors through the document, from the initial signs that indicate you need to change suppliers, all the way to how you can ensure a smooth transition with a new supplier.
