Graeme Bassett

VP, APAC

Graeme started with Optimas in 1992 and moved through various roles in within Strategic Sourcing. In 2007, Graeme made the move to China to support the set-up of the Suzhou facility from a green field site and start a low-cost in-country Sourcing Team. In 2014 Graeme was promoted to VP for the APAC Region, and over the last 10 years has also helped expand the business into India’s Shared Services / PPAP Centre, including two Distribution sites and Japan’s Distribution hub. Graeme’s role as a General Manger has allowed him to be involved in all areas of the business, such as Sales, Quality, Engineering, Sourcing and Supply Chain, giving him vast knowledge and experience. In addition, Graeme has full P&L ownership responsibilities for profitable growth and operational expense control in the Region.

Jonathan Christopher

Quality Director, UK

Jon Christopher has over 30 years of experience holding Senior Quality appointments within large tier one automotive suppliers. Jon has a wealth of quality knowledge in OE design, manufacturing, and aftermarket. Working for the most part with safety critical product groups, product safety and brand reputation are both central to how Jon approaches Quality. Today, Jon is leading the Quality department for the International Region delivering the best in quality support services and ensuring that the customer voice is central to our improvement objectives. Jon earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Plymouth University, England.

Greg Babinec

Applications Engineer, US

With over two decades of seasoned experience in aerospace and defense as well as automotive industries, Greg Babinec stands as a distinguished business advisor and entrepreneur. He holds an impressive track record in operational and product development realms, marked by his proactive value-added approaches to corporate enhancement. Greg has a deep-seated ability to discern and rectify non-optimal business operations, which has been instrumental in driving success across various Fortune 500 companies.

Greg began his professional journey with a role in mechanical engineering at the Department of Defense, after earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Management from Youngstown State University. His foundational experiences have solidified his expertise and leadership in transforming business landscapes and growing profitable new businesses.

Stuart Katz

Director, Marketing

Stuart Katz is a marketer with a successful track record in the B2B arena. His background includes 25+ years of experience with start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. As Director of Marketing for Optimas Solutions, he’s responsible for charting the marketing course for the company’s Americas region, including strategy, branding, lead generation, sales enablement and internal communications. Katz earned a master’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a bachelor’s in communications & Public Relations from Glassboro State College.
