With over 24 years of global experience across the fastener, distribution, and manufacturing industries, John brings deep expertise in procurement, commercial development, supplier strategy, and operational excellence.

Throughout his career, John has:

• Delivered multimillion-pound savings and efficiency gains
• Managed procurement budgets up to £350m
• Led global teams across the UK, Europe, APAC, and the US
• Launched international sites and supported expansion into new markets
• Implemented digital transformation and operational improvements
• Built strategic supplier networks and long-term commercial agreements

John’s Role at Optimas

As VP Commercial Development, John will partner closely with regional and global teams to:

• Strengthen and diversify our supplier strategy
• Support product portfolio growth and international deployment
• Enhance our customer value proposition through improved commercial and operational alignment
• Drive integration, scalability, and acceleration within the Optimas commercial engine
