Daniel Harms CEO of Optimas Solutions

Daniel Harms

CEO

Daniel Harms is CEO, Americas and a member of the Board of Directors at Optimas Solutions. He is responsible for strategies that drive disciplined revenue and profitable growth, elevate operational excellence and enhance customer service in the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America.

 

He was promoted to President, Americas in August of 2021 after joining the company in April of the same year as Chief Operating Officer with a focus on distribution centers, sourcing and supply chain in North America.

 

A strategic thought leader with nearly 20 years of supply chain experience, Daniel has built and guided high-performing teams to deliver operational excellence across multiple industries. His influential leadership style and data-driven approach to problem solving have consistently produced revenue and bottom-line growth with P&Ls over $100 million.

 

Prior to joining Optimas, Daniel held several positions of increasing responsibility at DSC/CJ Logistics which culminated at Senior Vice President, Operations. In this role he had strategic oversight of customer relationships and operational responsibility for numerous distribution centers nationally. This included leadership development, financial/operational performance and business process evolution. Throughout his tenure, Daniel has led people, process and technology initiatives that moved the company’s performance benchmarks forward.

 

Daniel earned a Master’s of Business Administration from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. He currently resides in the Atlanta suburbs with his wife Laura and their children Caleb, Major and Colby. Daniel is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and volunteers his time with local church and Scouts BSA organizations.

Mark Korba

Chief Operating Officer

Mark Korba is Chief Operating Officer for Optimas Solutions. In this role, he leads the organization’s strategic functions, including New Business Development and Implementation, Marketing and Pricing, Sourcing and Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Strategy and Business Intelligence, Project Management and Transportation.

 

Mark joined Optimas in 2021 with deep experience across logistics, transportation, distribution, technology, operations, finance, sales, industrial engineering and business intelligence. He’s advanced through several executive positions, most recently serving as Chief of Staff for 2+ years.

 

Prior to this, Mark was SVP of Technology, Engineering Systems & Solutions at DSC/CJ Logistics. Earlier in his career, he built a solid foundation in operations and business with UPS and Sears Holdings Corporation for a combined 21 years.

 

Mark earned a Master of Business Administration in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Roosevelt University. A Chicago native, he now lives with his wife and four children in the city’s northwest suburbs.

Shanté Williams

Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Shanté Williams leads the Human Resources organization at Optimas Solutions. She is responsible for developing and executing people strategies that strengthen organizational capabilities, support workforce readiness and foster business growth. Known for her collaborative and service-oriented leadership style, Shanté partners closely with colleagues across the organization to build high-performing teams and strong workplace cultures.

 

She brings extensive experience in organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, labor relations and HR operations. Throughout her career, Shanté has led initiatives that improved productivity, increased engagement and strengthened retention across complex, multi-site companies.

 

Before joining Optimas, Shanté served as Vice President, Human Resources at Oncourse Home Solutions, where she led strategic HR and organizational change initiatives across the enterprise. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President, People and Culture at Orion Talent. Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles with The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Samuel, Son & Company, BakerCorp and LBP Manufacturing.

 

Shanté earned a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology and Organizational Development from Benedictine University and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Psychology from the University of Southern California. She also holds a Global Human Resources Professional certification from DePaul University, along with SHRM-SCP and PHR accreditations.

 

Outside of work, Shanté enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, watching her son play semi-professional soccer and serving as a Board Member/Advisor at Gorilla Faith.

Paul Schorr CTO of Optimas Solutions

Paul Schorr

Chief Information Officer

Paul Schorr leads the technology strategy for Optimas Solutions and oversees all aspects of IT for the company. Under his guidance, Optimas plans to strategically invest in technology that drives business efficiencies, fuels growth, and brings further innovation to bear for our customers. Before joining Optimas, Paul was the founder and managing consultant of Strategic Outlook LLC, a technology and business advisory firm. For Strategic Outlook, Paul served as a contract CIO for Zesty Paws, Zenwise LLC, and uni-ball Corporation. Earlier in his career, Paul served as CIO for Patterson Medical, later renamed Performance Health, a growing global manufacturer and distributor of rehabilitation and recovery medical products. At Performance Health, Paul implemented a long-term technology strategy centered around Oracle NetSuite ERP and other cloud-based solutions. Oracle NetSuite ERP is the principal enterprise resource planning tool recently implemented by Optimas Solutions. Paul also led IT for Disney Movie Club (a division of Disney Studios) as a contract-based Divisional CIO. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Eastern Illinois University.

Peter Hreska

Chief Financial Officer

Peter Hreska is Chief Financial Officer of Optimas Solutions, where he leads the company’s financial strategy in support of profitable growth. He oversees financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial reporting, treasury and working capital management.

 

Peter progressed through multiple executive finance leadership roles, culminating in his elevation to Chief Financial Officer in May 2026. Prior to this, he led the Optimas Americas finance team as Senior Vice President since December 2024. Peter joined the company as Vice President, Finance in October 2023.

 

Before joining Optimas, Peter held several finance leadership roles at A.M. Castle & Co., most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Finance & Treasurer. During his tenure, he led key financial functions and supported company strategy and performance initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held finance and accounting roles across a diverse range of industries, building a broad foundation in financial management and business operations.

 

Peter holds a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance from Illinois State University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, their two rabbits and a dog, as well as taking on home improvement and DIY projects.

Jennifer Muchoney

VP, General Counsel

Jennifer Muchoney is VP, General Counsel at Optimas Solutions, where she leads the company’s Legal, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Trade Compliance functions. She collaborates with teams to support company strategy, strengthen compliance programs and executes terms of trade with Optimas customers and supply chain partners.

 

Jennifer has 20+ years of legal and business experience in commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, risk management and corporate governance. She’s known for her ability to build strong partnerships across teams, industries and geographies. During her tenure at Optimas, she’s helped guide the company through periods of growth and change, including global supply chain disruptions, evolving trade regulations and merger & acquisition transactions.

 

Prior to her current role, Jennifer held the role of General Counsel, Americas since 2023. She joined the company in 2019 as Associate General Counsel, Americas. Before joining Optimas, Jennifer served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Vice President of Human Resources at NAMCO USA. In this position, she established the company’s first in-house legal department and supported a wide range of business and licensing initiatives.

 

Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Loyola University Chicago. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois, before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

 

Beyond her professional role, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and is married to a fellow attorney. She is the proud parent of two college students and a devoted animal lover. She also volunteers her time and expertise to aspiring lawyers during the annual Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competition, grading briefs and serving as a judge for oral arguments.
